You can compete with a partner, solo or both! In a studio, at home, outside – no restrictions!
Create any amount of videos each belonging to one style (Ballroom, Latin, Smooth or Caribbean) – you can pick one dance or mix dances of one style.
Each video must be under 1 minute long.
Shoot your video while holding your mobile HORIZONTALLY.
The organizers reserve the right to combine closest age groups and devisions with entries lower than 20.
DANCE WITH YOUR TEACHER, CHOOSE THE PRO-AM IN OUR TOUR!
The wording in full is "Professional-Amateur" and refers to a couple formed by a Professional (man or woman) who dances with his student (woman or man). There are different forms of activities that can be carried out in this condition, just like for a normal couple: private lessons, group lessons, training, dancing at school or showcases (exhibitions), competitions.
The divisions range from Latin American Dances (Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Jive and Paso Doble), Standard Dances (Slow Waltz, Tango, Quikstep, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz) to American Rhythm (Cha Cha, Rumba, Swing, Bolero and Mambo), American Smooth (Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot and Viennese Waltz) and Argentine Tango Salon & Freestyle (Tango, Tango Vals, Milonga).
The most famous Pro-Am competition, known all over the world, is undoubtedly Dancing With the Stars. In that televition format, the Am are famous stars.
